Now that you have passed your driving test and thrown away your
plates your next thought may be motorways.
For many new drivers just the thought can be nerve-racking. That is why we are here.
Driving on motorways requires serious concentration and continuous scanning of the area all around you. Not to mention the continuous driving at the maximum speed limits (subject to traffic conditions). As on your lessons you will be given a full briefing on the safety checks of your vehicle, speed limits, acceleration/deceleration lanes, motorway interchanges, the dangers of large vehicles, safe overtaking, lane discipline, weather conditions, driving distance and cover the many fears that people have.
It is recommended you take a minimum of between 2 or 3 hours (depending on how far you live from a motorway)
By the end of your lesson you should feel completely confident in your ability to drive on motorways,
By receiving professional tuition on motorways you will eliminate the fear and extreme risk of trying to go it alone for the first time.
Motorway lessons are charged an extra £5 per hour to cover the costs for the greater speeds/distance and fuel that is used.
